Launch of the 2027 call for applications for the Factory Platform
Once again this year, Théâtre Varia is renewing its commitment to the Plateforme Factory project, in collaboration with the Maison de la Culture in Tournai, Le Prisme – Théâtre et Centre culturel in Namur, and Central / La Louvière. Together, we offer workspaces, as well as technical and logistical support, to artists and companies wishing to develop their creative process or undertake experimental and research-based work.
These paid residencies form part of our commitment to supporting emerging production by providing genuine creative laboratories. We look forward to receiving your applications!
Three calls for applications are available in the three areas mentioned above: mentoring schemes, paid residencies and the annual Festival Factory. You may apply to all three calls for applications without restriction (one application per project leader. Applications must not exceed three pages in length). Eligible applicants are: emerging artists or companies (1st, 2nd or 3rd project) active in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation who are developing their work in the field of the performing arts.
Applications must be submitted exclusively via the Factory website by 13 November 2026.
